Synopsis (taken from front flap)
Nobody could keep up with King Orville. He would spring up in the morning and rush down to breakfast half-dressed, while his servants raced after him with his crown. he was always looking for people to compete with, and he always won - until he met Horace, Boris and Maurice. They were the most perfect princes in the world, but their greatest accomplishment was their playing on the bagpipes.
When they fell in love with King Orvilles daughters, everyone was happy until King Orville heard about the bagpipes and insisted on a competition. He had never played before, so of course the princes won - and then it turned out that King Orville was a terrible loser. No one had suspected it - he was such a good winner - and the results of his fury were very odd indeed.
